debutant prep in the lh!

debutant orientation was held on last monday... after weeks of inertness aand inactivness...finally!something to fire our imagination!!!!!smthin to boost our spirits!!!!something to mak adrenaline gush!!!!
"wat r v waiting for?".... soon we started making our cheerlines ...posters...and articles...and the days that followed wer a series of night outs....we wer runnin frm room to room asking for ideas and sharin our "secret" plans...the discussion on gv left us all rotfl!!!our crazy ideas wer that scary!

¨PROMETHEUS¨

Prometheus was the son of Iapetos and Klymene (Clymene). His name means Forethought.He was nweither a god nor a man.He had fought for Zeus against Kronos.But he had no true respect for Zeus.Zeus in his wrath denied men the secret of fire. Prometheus felt sorry for his creations, and watched as they shivered in the cold and winter's nights. He decided to give his most loved creation a great gift that was a "good servant and bad master". He took fire from the hearth of the gods by stealth and brought it to men in a hollow wand of fennel, or ferule that served him instead of a staff. he brought down the fire coal and gave it to man. he then showed them how to cook and stay warm.He was a great lover of mankind and began the era of enlightment.

And to this day the term Promethean refers to people of great creativity,intellect and boldness.We civilians are his army representing his ideals and spreading light to people around.

the sangam was a disaster...but it helped our branch a lot!we made frnds with each other and got to knw a lot more abt our branch mates!....boosted up our branch spirit....we cudnt wait for the next event !!!

we hav been waitin for debutant with bated breath!and heres our chance!and we are surely gonna make it 2 the top...watch out for the promethean!

approaching D-DAY.........

As the day of reckoning approaches nearer and nearer, the things are seeming to fall in place...the day started with (actually speaking it was a night out)me getting up at 7.30(woken up by my roomie who by the way was going home)..i was given the task to wake up ma fellow "PROMEATHEANS"..and that was jus awesome......waking up sony n lachcho....(Lakshminarayanan Iyer who by the way was also night out for movie spoof .....).thje first objective iof the day was to finish off the t-shirt design..we met up in mb111 at around 10 and (after having some sleep..lol...:-) )and finally got going with the design...our team was called in to the job......"THE TEAM" happened ro included sony,myself,holen,lachcho,elna n jaya..we started racking our brains on a meaningful name..the theme and the pics were already decided by n s s l n(by the name u can guess he is a golti)and lachcho..(from this u can guess wat we were upto the whole night..)..me n sony liked the idea very much and now we jus neede a name for our "group"..after one hour of racking our brains and the brains of some other people,we came up with a name-"PROMEATHEAN"..i liked the sound if it wen i first heard it.i knew wat it meant rightaway..as for u guys "PROMEATHEAN " means "events or people of great creativity,intellect and boldness"..then sony set out to the city for buying the materials and for submitting the design.....as of now..we got no news..jus tht our shirts are gettin ready(no news of sony......if u find him pls contact me at 9995101748).....thats it for now.....
